If I had to pick 10 products that I absolutely could not live without, this would definitely be one of them. Prior to trying this setting powder, I was using the MUFE HD Powder to set my makeup, and while I enjoyed the softness the MUFE powder left my skin immediately after application, I did not necessairly like the way it made my skin look. I also used to set my foundation with pressed powder but I found that often made my face look flat, cakey, and most of all, dull. 



This Chanel setting powder is truly AMAZING. It makes your skin look flawless, creating an airbrushed beautiful halo effect. It sets semi-matte and photographs incredibly well, making it a cult favourite amongst makeup artists. It also doesn’t settle into fine lines like most other powders do, and does not clog pores, therefore,  is terrific for acne prone skin. There really is not a single bad thing I can say about this product, not even the price.

As for application, I recommend NOT using the puff which comes with it otherwise, overtime, the puff will collect bacterial and smell extremely unpleasant. Instead, use a fluffy powder blush and dust it lightly all over the face, and you will IMMEDIATELY notice how airbrushed your face looks. There are times when I skip the foundation, and apply this over my moisturizer and it still gives a beautiful polished look.

The packaging is GORGEOUS. It comes in a circular frosted plastic jar and the iconic Chanel logo on the top black lid. Classic, luxurious, a great piece to have on your vanity.
